After graduation I immediately began The Master's of International Agriculture program through Oklahoma State University and graduated May 2015. I began teaching at Obuch Middle School August 2014 as the Middle School Computer Lab Aid. August 2015 I accepted this position in the High School to teach Computer Applications I & II as well as Yearbook. I strive for High School Computer Lab to be a place where students can access the vast information on the internet and use computer programs in a safe and purposeful environment.
As a junior in college I worked as a teaching assistant at Oklahoma State University. As I began my Masters summer of 2012, I was contacted to teach at Eastern Oklahoma State College. Thus, I have had to continue my Masters via online education. 2012-2014 I taught Microcomputer Techniques, Communications, Crop Science, and Soil Science as well as coach collegiate agronomy judging teams. My home town has always been Antlers thus when I had the opportunity to "come home" that is exactly what I did. I accepted the Middle School Computer Lab for fall of 2014 then High School Computer Applications and Yearbook August 2015. It is my goal to incorporate my experiences of teaching computers, teaching courses online, and being an online student myself to make our High School Computer Lab Technologies an advantageous tool.
My husband I and I have a beautiful daughter, Cambry who has started First Grade this year! In our free time you can find us fishing, riding horses, or working on “projects” outdoors. If there is one thing to know about me it is that my family is of utmost priority. I value spending quality time with the ones I love.
