To my students,
I want you to know that I miss you, I miss our laughs, our learning, and our bond! I sent you off for Spring Break, told you goodbye, and hugged you with excitement that you would have a fun break but also that we would reunite to finish out the school year together! Unfortunately, I told you goodbye for the rest of the school year and we had no idea that March 12th was our final day in class together to soak up one another’s presence and that breaks my heart. I also want you to know that I am still here for you to help you finish out your school year even though it is not in person. I know too well how good most of you are at working your phone, so email me with any questions, comments, or just to talk like we always did! (email@example.com) Download the gmail app to your phone, login to your school email (if you do not know it then you can contact the school to gain that information) and you can email me and I will reply in a timely manner! The email will come through to my phone just like a text message. I will be here for you guys for anything you may need me for!
The purpose of the remainder of the year will be to review and refresh the standards that we already covered throughout the beginning of the school year, therefore, the material we cover from here on out SHOULD be familiar to you. If it is not and you are confused, please email me! I am not throwing you out the wolves and expecting you to know how to do everything without asking questions.
For the students who choose to do their Distance Learning online, we will utilize IXL and other activities for you to do that I will post on the Distance Learning Tab on my page on this website. I will post your assignments weekly but it will also be posted in advance. I will have extra things posted in case you or your parents feel that you need more to be working on or need to review more concepts. You will understand once you see it, I will organize it as simply as possible, but again, if you are confused please email me.
For the students who choose their work to be in packet form there will be a packet available at the school. It will be enough work for you for 5 weeks, which is the remainder of the school year. Although, you may choose to opt out of the online learning you may still email me!
