My Schedule is as follows:

1st Hour - High School Band

2nd Hour - Instrumental

3rd Hour - Middle School Band

4th Hour - 2nd Year Percussion

5th Hour - Prep Period

6th Hour - Beginning Band 1

7th Hour - Beginning Band 2

I believe that Music is in integral part of the students developement.  Not only does it teach them something that they can use and appreciate for the rest of their lives, it has been proven to improve math and science scores, as well as spatial reasoning skills.  In addition to the purely educational value of music, I firmly believe it is one of the best areas to teach students teamwork, conflict resolution, self responsibility, and to do your best in any area or endeavor.  We work hard, we learn a lot, we occasionally do a few pushups or laps, and WE HAVE FUN.
