Hello, my name is Lindsey Riser, and this is my 10th year teaching!
I went to Antlers Public Schools when I was a child and graduated from here, then I went to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where I graduated with my degree in Elementary Education. I graduated in December 2008 and started teaching 3rd grade the following August. After, my first year in 3rd grade I was asked to move to Kindergarten and absolutly love it!
I finished up my Master’s in Library Media in May 2015 and graduated from East Central University. I really love reading and think that this would be a wonderful job when the time comes. I hope that I can show my students how much fun books can be and help them to learn to love to read as much as I do.
Kindergarten is such a rewarding grade to teach because you can see how much progress they have made during the year!!
I am married to Michael Riser, and we had our first son Nolan Scott Riser, in February 2012, and our second son Lincoln in August 2018.
I love animals, being outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.
