Antlers Public School District is pleased to welcome Lee Wilson as our new high school principal.
Mr. Wilson is beginning his 34th year in education, having served as a high school English teacher, coach, campus principal and transportation director. He graduated from Claremore- Sequoyah High School in Claremore, OK, continued his education at Tabor College in Hillsboro, KS, and then achieved his Masters Degree at The University of Texas at Tyler, TX.
He taught in Texas for 25 years, with the last 12 years at River crest ISD. When asked why he chose Antlers, Mr. Wilson responded “I was looking for an opportunity to return to my home state and I was impressed by the great things happening at Antlers High School. We love small towns, and my wife and I are excited to become part of the community here.”
Mr. Wilson is married to another educator, Charlene, who will be serving in the library at Antlers High School. They have three sons, three daughters-in-law, two grandchildren and “two very spoiled dogs.”
Mr. Wilson states, “My vision is to continue the tradition of excellence at Antlers by helping to uphold the high standards that have been here for years.” Please join us in welcoming Mr. Lee Wilson to our Antlers community.
