We are excited to welcome another wonderful addition to the Antlers Public Schools family!
Originally from Oklahoma City, Mrs. Shantel Krause and her family moved to the area because they have always loved the beauty of this part of the state. She is also a proud mom of twin boys who are in high school, giving her a personal understanding of the importance of these years for students. With a background in Education and as an artist, Mrs. Krause loves encouraging kids through creativity and helping them discover their own unique talents.
Mrs. Krause was drawn to Antlers because of how highly the teachers and her own kids speak about the school. She says there is such a positive vibe, and she wanted to be part of it and enjoy coming to work every day!
Outside of school, she loves exploring new places. Her interests include traveling, hiking, painting, and collecting interesting rocks and geological treasures.
Mrs. Krause chose to teach art because it allows freedom of expression and provides multiple ways to inspire students and help them discover their unique talents. She believes art allows students to have fun while they learn!
She has a Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Education and Psychology and is certified in Oklahoma to teach Art Education PK-12th.
Please join us in giving Mrs. Krause a warm welcome to Antlers Public Schools! We are so excited to have her sharing her creativity, passion, and love of learning with our students and school community.
