Mrs. Charlene Wilson grew up in a farming community in California. Her family grew peaches, plums, and nectarines, and they sold their raisins to Sun Maid.
She attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, where she met Mr. Wilson. Together, they have three boys, three daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson earned her degree in Social Work and worked for DHS for 6 years. She was fortunate to stay home with her three boys. When her youngest started Pre-K, she began working in education. She thought it was a great way to be on the same schedule as her boys.
Mrs. Wilson has been a librarian for 9 years. She has always loved to read and loves helping kids find their interests and develop a love for reading as well.
Now, Mrs. Wilson and her family are excited to come to Antlers and get plugged into the community!
