Coach Sands is from Checotah, Oklahoma. She graduated from Murray State College with an Associate degree in Health Science. She then attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Master’s degree in Sports Administration.
Coach Sabetha Sands has two dogs, a Border Collie/Mini Aussie mix and a Labradoodle. She is the youngest of three siblings. She chose to make Antlers her home because it is a small town with a close-knit community that feels like family. Coach Sands and her fiancé were also both offered jobs in the area, making Antlers a great fit for them.
Outside of school and coaching, Coach Sands enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, working out and running, and going shopping. She chose her teaching subject because it aligns with her educational background and degrees, and because she has always loved science.
