Coach Gardner is from Pensacola, Florida. He is the youngest of four boys and also has a twin brother. He graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He played college football for six years, spending three years at Garden City Community College and three years as a starter at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. During his playing career, he played the entire defensive line and was a 2023 NFL Draft prospect.
Coach Gardner became interested in Antlers Public Schools after Coach White gave him the opportunity to join the district. He is thankful for the opportunity, as well as for the principal and superintendent for taking a chance on him and welcoming him to Antlers. He is excited to teach and coach the great, hardworking students of Antlers.
Outside of work, Coach Jaiveon Gardner enjoys playing video games and continuing to perfect his craft as a coach. He spends time watching film, developing plays, and creating strategies to become a better coach. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family and simply making the most of life.
