Coach Shaw was born in Durant Oklahoma. He graduated from Moyers high school, played basketball and baseball at NEO A&M college in Miami Oklahoma, then transferred to Fort Smith Arkansas university where he continued his baseball and academic career, and finished at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s of Arts and Coaching.
He’s always been interested in working here at Antlers especially since it is so close to where he grew up. Not only that but there are some great people that work here so he knew it would be an amazing environment to start his coaching career.
In his free time he likes to golf, fish, and rodeo. They have a cattle ranch so that takes up just about any other free time he has.
He feels like his teaching subject picked him, he was open to teaching anything and 7th geography was the job they gave him and he’s loved it.
He is working to get his teacher certification this fall for the school but other than that just his Bachelor’s Degree from college.
