September 2026 - A Strong Start Through Teamwork
The 2026-2027 school year is off to a strong start at Antlers Public Schools. Our teachers and staff at all of our school sites have been working hard to provide our students with a great start to the year. I appreciate the effort they put in each day and the positive atmosphere they are creating for our students.
We also appreciate our local law enforcement agencies for their continued presence and assistance in helping keep our students and staff safe. Their willingness to work closely with the school district is greatly appreciated and is another example of the strong community partnerships we are fortunate to have in Antlers.
The hot weather has made the beginning of school challenging at times. We want to thank the organizations and individuals who have donated pallets of water to various school groups and activities. These donations have been especially helpful to our students participating in outdoor activities during the heat.
Thank you also to our parents and community members for your patience and cooperation with student pickup and drop-off before and after school. The beginning of a new school year always brings adjustments as everyone gets back into a routine. Your cooperation helps us keep traffic moving and, most importantly, helps keep our students safe.
September is a busy month for our students. Fall sports and activities are going strong, and we encourage everyone to come out and support our Bearcats. The Pushmataha County Free Fair will also be held September 17-19. Many of our students will be participating and showing the results of the hard work they have put into their projects.
We have had a strong start to the school year, and it has taken the efforts of our students, employees, parents, and community to make that possible. Thank you for your continued support of Antlers Public Schools.
